Tin Can Bay Marina
The waterways surrounding Tin Can Bay provide for great boating in a wide variety of weather conditions and has a great reputation for fishing. We are situated at the southern end of the Great Sandy Strait which also provides easy access to Fraser Island.
Fully refurbished and new berths are currently available. We have 172 catamaran and mono berths ranging from 9m to 20m plus, with leases for sale as well as short and long term rentals.
Tin Can Bay Marina has a limited number of berths for sale ranging from 10m to 18m starting from just $75,000 (Inc GST) on 20 year leases. When considering the current annual rental rate for a 10m berth is $5,750, over a 20 year period without any consideration for rental rate increases, you would expect to pay $114,800 in rent. With direct access to the Great Sandy Strait and one of the most protected marinas on the coast, it just makes sense to buy!
Additionally, purchasing a berth gives you the added advantage of always having a berth available to you, as well as the opportunity to rent the berth out when you are not using it and securing the income. You may also sell the berth at any time during the 20 year term and the sale proceeds are all yours. If you are an avid boatie or just looking for an alternative secure investment, you should seriously consider a berth purchase.
